On Saturday, September 21, 2019, enjoy free admission to the Wildling as part of the 15th annual Smithsonian Museum Day!
Enjoy access to current exhibition Celebrating the National Lands of California, along with a special family art activity in the Barbara Goodall Education Center and hands-on activities throughout the galleries.
The Wildling is among five Santa Barbara County museums opening their doors free of charge along with hundreds of other participating national venues. Be sure to also visit local participating venues: Elverhøj Museum of History & Art, Guadalupe Dunes Center, Santa Barbara Maritime Museum, and Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
Museum Day emulates the free admission policy of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington, D.C.-based facilities, encouraging learning and the spread of knowledge nationwide. Museum Day also represents a nationwide commitment to access, equity, and inclusion.
Museum Day tickets are available for download at www.smithsonian.com/museumday. Visitors who present a Museum Day ticket will gain free entrance for two at participating venues on September 21, 2019.
