SUN. APRIL 6TH, 2025 | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
At the California Nature Art Museum (formerly the Wildling Museum)
Enjoy free admission to the California Nature Art Museum for California Poppy Day 2025, held annually in celebration of native plants & pollinators. Purchase native plants for your home garden, create your own papercraft flower crown, enjoy free floral face-painting, marvel at CA Poppy vintage items & collectibles, and secure your free 2025 collectible sticker as one of the first 100 guests! This year’s partners include Yes Yes Nursery, Manzanita Nursery, Santa Barbara Hives, Santa Barbara County Trails Council, California Native Plant Society (Channel Islands Chapter), Hidden Wings, Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, Ranch & Poppies, and Collector Leslie Franklin.
California poppies (Eschscholzia Californica) are native to Santa Barbara County, typically flower from February - September, and range in color from rich yellow to bright orange. The California poppy has been our state flower for over a century now, and can be enjoyed in a variety of natural spaces such as UCSB's North Campus Open Space, the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve, or even your own backyard!
Join us for our second annual California Poppy Day free admission community day, held in celebration of poppies and pollinators!
California Poppy Day admission is free, and reservations are not required.
